April 2016 - The prestigious Dubai-based ARTSPACE Gallery will hold an exhibit for Moroccan Artist Fatiha Zemmouri titled Vibrations. Artspace is committed to the promotion of modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art and artists.Born in 1966, visual artist Fatiha Zemmouri is a graduate of the Casablanca School of Fine Arts. Very early in her career she developed interest in materials such as coal, burnt wood, ceramic, and porcelain.
Fatiha uses each alteration of matter to grow closer to the deeper being. Combustion, laceration, stitching, burning: all steps through which the matter is transformed to reveal itself as it is. Upon completion, the abstractions carry the memory of the black or white monochrome; and the matter, a metaphor of the body, reveals itself to be a life force.

Artspace is committed to the promotion of modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art and artists.Born in Suez, Egypt in 1964, sculptor Khaled Zaki holds a Bachelor in Business from the Faculty of Commerce and a Master's in Restoration from the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University. Zaki studied Sculpture at the Al Khonany Museum of Art in Giza and perfected his use of stone and bronze in the various workshops in Pietrasanta Lu, Italy. A versatile artist, he has been commended on his painting and in 2000, won a national competition for the design and execution of a monumental sculpture in Galan Square, Cairo. During the Egyptian revolution of January 25th his works had been clearly moved from abstract to a combination between figurative and abstract where the artist with his style and in his own way could capture and express the feelings, dreams, and expectations of those living today within Egyptian and Arab society.

Born in Aleppo, Syria in 1950, Saad Yagan is a leading contemporary Syrian painter. He is regarded as a key member in the development of contemporary Syrian Art and is one of the most significant modern-expressionist painters in the Middle-East.
November 2015- ARTSPACE Dubai is pleased to announce that it will be showcasing a solo show of works by prominent Egyptian artist, Adel El Siwi, on November 9, 2015. The exhibition will feature pieces from his latest exhibition titled Listen to the Beats. ARTSPACE Dubai is proud to be in association with Gargash Enterprises for this exhibition.
Adel El Siwi born in 1952 in Behera, Egypt. He studied medicine at Cairo University between 1970 and 1976, but simultaneously indulged in independent study at the Faculty of Fine Arts between 1974 and 1975. In 1980 he relocated to Milan in Italy, where he lived and worked for a decade before moving back to Cairo, where he continues to live and work.

Born in 1938 in Chebaa, Lebanon, he lived between Rome and Beirut from 1973-1986. In 1986 he decided to stay permanently in Beirut. His art has been viewed by thousands of people around the world at such venues as the British Museum, the Venice Biennale and Tokyo’s Ueno Museum.
